Children's Ministry

The Bible is packed with affirmations of the value of children, and so we place a major emphasis on our children's ministry.

By modeling Christlikeness and by helping children become familiar with God, His Word, and His gospel throughout Old and New Testament history, we come alongside parents as they train their children. Our aim is that by the time our children graduate from high school, they will know how to study God's Word for themselves and will have had practice in applying it to their lives. In this way, when they leave home, they are equipped to feed themselves from the Scriptures, to train themselves in godliness, to communicate the gospel to others, and to understand the significance of their part in a community of believers.

Practically, much of this ministry takes place during our Sunday worship services. We love having children join us during the services - singing praise to God and hearing His Word preached. (Many families bring along coloring books and crayons for the younger children, but we also have these items available in the back of our meeting space for you to use.)

Later, during the "Sunday School" time, we offer high-quality, gospel-centered teaching for kids of all ages while the adults discuss the sermon in small groups.

We have a well-child nursery available for children ages 2 and younger during both the worship service and the Sunday School time.

Children's safety is very important to us! Therefore, all children are signed in and out of Sunday School each week, and all of our children's ministry workers receive regular child safety certifications.
