Join us for a church retreat focusing on informal fellowship time on Friday night and Saturday, with a Sunday morning church service at the state park!

Location: Prince Gallitzin State Park - Muskrat Beach (Muskrat Beach Rd, Patton, PA 16668; 40.669264, -78.541851) - follow signs for group camping Pavilion #4 and camping site #7 

Cost: FREE!

Food: Bring your own except for Saturday evening. A meal will be provided for all attendees at 6pm. 

Registration: Please REGISTER by July 18 if possible, but last-minute visitors are welcome!

Directions

• Enter address (Muskrat Beach Rd, Patton, PA 16668) or lat-long (40.669264, -78.541851) into GPS

• Drive to Prince Gallitzin-Muskrat Beach area by turning onto Muskrat Beach Rd from Marina Rd

• Follow signs (go straight) for group camping area and Pavilion #4 

• As you near the campsite, do not turn off to the right. Those are smaller campsites. Look for a large grassy area to your left with a pavilion next to it and a large parking area.

• This event is open to GFC members and visitors.

• The church retreat will be happening rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, we may consider canceling. This page will be updated accordingly. 

• We have reserved Pavilion #4 and Group camping site #7 for those who wish to camp. There are picnic tables, a campfire pit, charcoal grills, and toilets in the vicinity. For those who do not wish to camp, you are invited to make day trips, but please still register.

• Restrooms are nearby, and showers are available there too.

• There is most likely cell phone service. Please don't blame us if that fails you. 

• There is a disc golf course next to our campsite. 

• There are beginner, intermediate and advanced orienteering courses provided by the park service.

• Sunday's worship service will take place at Prince Gallitzin only. 

  • We will meet in the shaded pavilion (Pavilion #4). You can also bring your own seating.

  • There will be no service at the William Street location, nor will there be a streaming option. 

  • The sermon audio will be recorded (if possible).

  • If "no rain" to  "moderate rain" is predicted, we will meet at Prince Gallitzin. If heavy rain or thunderstorms are predicted for Sunday (or move through late Saturday night), we will meet in the church building. Check back at this page for the latest details before traveling to Prince Gallitzin. We will make a decision about the Sunday service by 8am Sunday morning.
