UPDATE (Aug 4, 7:52 a.m.) the weather forecast looks good so please join us at Black Moshannon State Park by 10am this morning for our church service (arrive early if possible). Please bring a Bible & pen, any chairs/blankets you need, and any food you want for your own lunch.

Join us for a church retreat focusing on informal fellowship time on Friday night and Saturday, with a Sunday morning church service at the state park!

Dates: Friday, August 2 @ 6pm - Sunday, August 4 @ 3pm

Location: Black Moshannon State Park (4216 Beaver Rd, Philipsburg, PA 16866)

Cost: FREE!

Registration: Please REGISTER by July 30 if possible, but last-minute visitors are welcome!

In the event of inclement weather, this page will be updated accordingly (by 8am Sunday morning). Please check back before traveling to Black Mo.

This event is open to GFC members and visitors.
We have reserved the entire “Organized Group Tenting” area for those who wish to camp. For those who do not wish to camp, you are invited to make day trips, but please still register.

Restrooms are nearby but no showers are available.
There is very limited cell phone access. Assume that calls, texts, and internet will be unavailable.
Sunday's worship service will take place at Black Mo only.
- We will meet in a shaded pavilion (see photos). You can also bring your own seating.
- There will be no service at the William Street location, nor will there be a streaming option.
- The sermon audio will be recorded (if possible)
- If "no rain" to "moderate rain" is predicted, we will meet at Black Mo. If heavy rain or thunderstorms are predicted for Sunday (or move through late Saturday night), we will meet in the church building. Check back at this page for the latest details.
