Principles

Grace Fellowship Church exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ in State College and beyond. We eagerly follow Jesus as His disciples, beholding the supreme goodness of His character and commands revealed in the Scriptures. Therefore, we gladly submit every area of life to the Bible: our worldview, theology, teaching, counseling, activities, and everything else about us.

Grace

Our relationship with God is possible only by grace through faith alone. By grace He "made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions." (Eph 2:5) By grace He calls us to repent of the sin that still indwells us. By grace He transforms us into His image over time until we stand perfected before Him in glory. We never grow beyond our need for God’s grace.

We seek to minister God's grace in all our relationships: by patiently working to know each other at the heart level, by speaking the truth in love, and by constantly pointing one another to Christ. Our aim is that "no one misses the grace of God." (Heb 12:15)

Fellowship

By His grace God brings us into fellowship with Him and with one another. We are therefore dedicated to building up every member of our church "until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature." (Eph 4:13)

As we pursue Christ together, we "look not only to our own interests, but also the interests of others" (Phil 2:4). Because the ministry of the church occurs through all of our members, the spiritual growth and active service of each member is essential.

Church

Grace Fellowship Church serves Jesus as a local assembly of His body in State College, PA, where we maintain fraternal relations with other local churches for mutual edification and accountability.

Additionally, as God works through us to make disciples of Christ, He often calls our members to serve Him in other places. Thus, whether locally or in the remotest parts of the world, we eagerly embrace God's call to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world (Matt 5:13-14).
