Worship

When you visit Grace Fellowship Church, we hope that you feel welcomed, encouraged and informed about God’s truth and grace. During a typical worship service, here are some things you can expect:

Songs

The songs that we sing during our service contain a mix of hymns and contemporary music. These songs help to reflect the truth of the Bible and its application to our lives and often highlight the main themes of the teaching that week.

Sharing

During the service attendees have the opportunity to voluntarily share about what God is doing in their lives and how we as a church family can be praying for them throughout the week. The song leader then leads everyone in praying together for those requests.

Teaching

As a key aspect of our time together, Grace Fellowship Church elders or elders-in-training teach from the Bible each Sunday. Together we study books of the Bible as well as different topics that are taught in the Bible, making applications to our everyday lives. Outlines and Bibles are provided.

Fellowship Time

After our formal worship service, our time together continues over refreshments as an opportunity to get to know one another better. During this time we have the opportunity to go beyond “hello” and really build friendships—as well as make new ones!

Small Groups

Consisting of 5–10 people, small groups serve as a time for all attendees to discuss, reflect, question and reinforce the key concepts of the teaching. As part of our worship together, small groups are a helpful tool for making clear connections between the truth of the Bible and our own lives. Elders or elders-in-training lead these groups.

Communion

Once a month our church family celebrates Jesus’ death on the cross (paying for all our failures) and resurrecting to life (conquering death and sin) through communion. Instruction on this tradition is given during the service and is open to all who believe the good news about Jesus’ saving work.
